Many of the loops and sound logos we’ve developed are now starting to appear in client work and other promotional material. It’s much more effective (and safer) to script original material than rely on freebie downloads (with ‘iffy’ copyright legacies) or to use out-and-out rips from established artists (just begging the RIAA to come a-callin’). We’ve just completed a ‘rough cut’ soundtrack for the upcoming Logopalooza Podcast series (listen here to the Logopalooza theme music in mp3 format) encapsulating, hopefully, the atmosphere of our blog. A Logopalooza music logo if you will, and something that works well with the little ‘Logopalooza’ dude. Some of the sounds are canned, others are ‘live’ while others are synthesizers (we’ll never tell which is which). Look for more on this in upcoming episodes of Logopalooza. And while we’re at it, how many blogs you know have their own theme music? Not many I suspect…
